Strengthening capacity and leadership
In 2025 we refined our Capacity Strengthening portfolio. Renamed “Sector Building,” the portfolio now focuses on supporting ecosystem builders who provide tools and coordination to help the social purpose sector operate more effectively.
Our funding aims to address systemic barriers by supporting work that advances non-profit and social finance policy and improves regulations to unlock capital for the sector. This includes efforts in non-profit policy development, advocacy and governance, as well as initiatives that create open tools, platforms and services that enhance effectiveness and accountability.
